A server I knew there gave my resume to her. I was called in for an interview right away, within a day. It was a group interview with about 8-9 other girls and lasted around 20 minutes. Each person had to take a photo. I later found out the interviewer doesn't make hiring decisions. The photos and recommendations would be sent to the owners, and we'd get a call after they looked at them. It took about 2 weeks to hear back. The place I got hired at didn't have a manager, so floor leads or senior servers handled interviews and the process between shifts. The whole hiring thing was pretty unprofessional. After being hired, we had to take a test on the menu, which I took about 3 months after starting.

it was super easy and nice, they said they just needed to consult with the owners like they do every Tuesday, but they never said anything and never ended up hiring me. I called them and they said it wasn't what the owners wanted, and it wasn't open interviews like advertised.
