After taking the online test, it took about 2 weeks to get called for an interview. It was a group interview with HR, continuing education, and specific departments. The whole process was very smooth and humanized. I've had interviews at other companies, and without a doubt, this was the one where I felt most respected, without any embarrassment for the candidates at any point, even though it was a group interview. The entire interview was guided by what was on my resume. The most important thing is to be 100% sincere about your knowledge and answers.

I did the online test with 10 simple questions. The following week, I had a super chill interview with HR, which I don't think lasted even 15 minutes. They asked why I chose the hospital, why I chose nursing, and what we'd do if we had more patients than usual. The very next day, I interviewed with management, two nurses. It was very relaxed. It was my first interview in this field. They asked what a technician does in an emergency patient situation, which PPE is used for collection, what to do for LPP treatment, what the hospital's values are. There were 9 of us, and the answers were pretty similar. It's been 10 days, and I still haven't heard back, either way.

I registered on the hospital's website, and a few days later, they scheduled an online test with a date and time. After passing, I was emailed and messaged via WhatsApp for a face-to-face interview with a psychologist. They asked me to bring all my documents, which they just reviewed and marked off a list. The psychologist asked general questions about my experiences, preferences, and availability. Five days later, I received positive feedback via email and WhatsApp. I was then called for a technical interview. The interview was delayed by 40 minutes. There were 9 of us, and we had to wear white as it was in a room inside the hospital. The interviewers were a nursing manager and a nursing supervisor. They arranged us alphabetically in a semi-circle and alternated the starting side for each question.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with an online test. This was followed by an interview with a psychologist, where I had to answer questions about my experiences, my conduct as a nurse, the competencies I believe are important for the profession, and how I identify with the institution. Finally, there was an interview with the nursing coordinator, who wanted to assess my technical knowledge as a nurse, my understanding of international patient safety goals, institutional protocols, and leadership and management methods.

  • What skills do you consider essential for a junior nurse role?
  • Can you describe your experience and conduct as a nurse?
  • What competencies do you think are important for practicing nursing?
