The hiring manager was a director, and I also met with another Director and a VP. It was helpful because they were all invested in my success once I started the job.

Got approached by an external recruiter mid-September 2017. First was a phone interview with a Senior Director, then an in-person interview late October with 5 people. Got really positive feedback and was told I'd move forward to another in-person with VPs. A month passed, they said it was hard to schedule because of Thanksgiving, and then December went by. Two months later, still nothing, but they kept saying they liked me and I shouldn't take other offers. It's mid-January, I'm frustrated, so I email them directly and find out they put the position on hold and didn't even tell me. The external recruiter also knows nothing. I'm so disappointed by their unprofessionalism and the HR's incompetence, which is saying a lot. I wasted 3 months because they strongly implied I basically had the offer and then just disappeared. They should have had the common courtesy to let me know the position was closed. These things happen all the time. Just communicate, don't mislead.

The interview process was pretty standard, involving some behavioral questions and a few case studies. There was also an Excel assessment. They kept the interview dates relatively close together, which was appreciated. The discussions felt very open and conversational, with ample time allocated for asking questions at the end of each stage.
