Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
Analyst
The interview process was great. I had a phone interview, then an interview with the recruiter, and finally an interview with the hiring manager. Everyone was very pleasant! I didn't get the job though.
- Can you tell me about one of your weaknesses?
Analyst
I applied online. First, there was a phone screen with a recruiter. Then, I had phone interviews with two staff members, one of whom was the hiring manager. After that, I went for onsite interviews with the recruiter and the hiring manager I had spoken to previously. The whole process was cordial and informative.
- How would you approach project specifics when the requester's objectives are unclear?
Analyst
The process started with a recruiter call where they asked about my background and annual salary. After that, there were two interviews: one with the hiring manager and another with the department head. I got a call back about 2-3 days after the second interview with an unofficial offer, but I declined because the salary was too low.
- Were you given any ethical or scenario-based questions?
