First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Horace Mann.
Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview first, then a behavioral assessment and some virtual rep scenarios. After that, I was invited to a Teams interview with two people. I got the offer by email about 10 minutes after finishing the last interview.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Customer Care Representative
I applied in November and was called for an interview in February. My first interview was face-to-face with an HR Recruiter. Right after that, they asked if I could proceed to a second interview with a Customer Care Manager, which I agreed to. I interviewed with the manager immediately. Then, I sat with a representative to listen to incoming phone calls. After listening, the manager asked if I had any questions and if I believed I could handle the job. The next week, I got an offer and was told to start in two weeks.
- No particularly difficult or unusual questions were asked.
Customer Service Representative
The entire process takes about a month. There were two interviews, one with HR and another with the hiring manager. They made a job offer about a week after the final interview. The whole thing from applying to starting took almost two months.
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenge in your job or with a specific task, and describe how you managed to resolve it.
