Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

The interview process started with a straightforward chat with the hiring manager, who was really nice. Then, I had a second interview with someone who wasn't very engaging or friendly. I didn't think it went well, but surprisingly, I was invited to a final project round. For this round, they gave minimal direction and expected me to create a pitch and business plan. I put in a lot of effort, spending about 12 hours researching the company, making the presentations look good, and ensuring I was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Hopper. During the presentation, they asked tough, objective questions that caught me off guard. I realized the job might be a bit beyond my current level, and I wish they hadn't moved me to the final round after I'd invested so much time in those materials. I never even got a 'thank you' or acknowledgment of the effort. Two out of the three interviewers were unfriendly and made me feel like my time was being wasted. Honestly, I suspect they knew they weren't going to hire me even after the second interview and I feel like my time was wasted.

Got a video interview request super fast after applying online. Interviewed with the hiring manager, who's my potential direct boss, that same week. Started out really chill and chatty, but then they started asking some really specific questions. It felt like they were trying to get info for the company's benefit, you know? Like, they asked for contact names in the market. That struck me as weird for an interview, more like something you'd talk about after getting the job. I dodged giving out names 'cause it didn't feel right. Got a standard rejection email the next day. Reading other reviews, it seems like this company does try to fish for free info, which matches my experience.

Great experience, good attitude, good questions, best coffee. I don't have much more to say. 30 words is too many. Ok, are you serious? Please let me read the comments, don't do this to me. Thanks.
