Customer Service Agent
After submitting my resume on Indeed, I got an email with a Word doc that had some situational questions and I also had to do GDS entries. Then there was a Google Hangouts chat simulation with clients, two situations. Next was a pre-selection phone interview where they asked basic questions about my past experience and gave an overview of the position, including job requirements, scheduling, salary, etc. Finally, there was a personal interview.
- Tell me about yourself and your past experience.
- What are your thoughts on the job requirements, scheduling, and salary for this position?
- Please describe your experience with GDS.
Customer Support Specialist
I sent in a video via Instagram (you could also use Twitter, Facebook, or Snapchat) talking about a time I helped someone. I also submitted my resume and applied online. I got a positive response in about 2 days to move to the next stage. This next stage involved a test with different customer service scenarios. After that, I had a second test on Hangouts, simulating a chat between a customer and a support rep. A few hours later, I got an email saying they decided to go with other candidates after reviewing my application :( I really wanted the job, but at least they let me know.
- What motivates you to help people?
- Tell me about any previous customer service work experience you have.
- Can you share an instance where you assisted someone?
Customer Service Specialist
The interview process involved a review of my CV and cover letter, followed by a three-page challenge. Then, there was a mock customer chat via Hangouts, a phone interview, and finally an in-office interview with several members of the Customer Service team. This whole experience was really disorganized and complicated. Every interview with a person ran late, with some not even calling at all and others having me wait over an hour in the office. They claim it's because they're 'constantly growing,' but honestly, it seems like nobody knows what's happening. It was a complete joke.
- Can you describe what you would do in a given situation?
