Recruiter reached out to me and I was open to starting the conversation. Then we set up a 30 min call to further connect. She talked a mile a minute and used curse words (which doesnt upset me, I just find unprofessional). Main questions were behavioral and about past experience. Next call was with the CFO who couldn't really speak about what HoneyBook did and I could clearly tell she was reading off a list of questions to ask. Next was a project with 2 scenarios about calendaring and candidate outreach. Pretty lengthy interview process.

The Talent Coordinator reached out to me via email because they thought I'd be a good fit for the role. The first call I had was a conversational call with the Talent Coordinator to learn more about the role and to determine if there was a fit. Most companies do not take the time to do this, so HoneyBook caught my interest right away. Also, this employee was moving on to another role within the company which was why she was looking for a backfill. Later that week I spoke with the hiring manager. This was a pretty standard 30 min phone screen. The following week, I came onsite for an interview that lasted about 3 hours. I met with both Talent Partners & the Head of People, who is also a co-founder. The following week I came in to meet with the COO and was given a verbal offer that day.

The interview process at Honeybook began with a 30-minute call that felt more like a chat, with lots of information shared. It was a good way to start. After that, there were a couple of onsite interviews to meet the team members and one of the co-founders. It was a pleasure meeting everyone; they were friendly and enthusiastic about their team and the company culture they've built. It seems like they work hard but have a family-like atmosphere among colleagues, not just people sitting at the next desk. It appears to be a great place to work.
