The interview process is usually structured for about 60-90 minutes, but mine went over, lasting 150 minutes. It was a panel interview with senior engineers and management. They used the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) for several questions. They also had me go over my resume and discuss overcoming tough situations. They asked about my Excel skills, including macro usage. For Honda interviews, be ready to talk about your past work and accomplishments.

Applied on the Honda website. About two weeks later, I got a call for a screening interview that focused on my background and qualifications. Another two weeks passed, and then I was invited for an in-person interview. This included a session about benefits and a tour of the plant. I was put in a group with five other people who were also interviewing for the same job at the plant, which was a bit annoying. The actual interview was with the engineering team I would be joining (four people) and was pretty straightforward, using the STARS method.

After an initial phone screening, I was invited for an in-person interview. I met with two managers and an HR representative. The interview started with an open discussion where I presented my resume and professional background. The managers then described their roles within their respective departments. I was asked about my resume, my career interests (e.g., technical, hands-on, or a mix), and provided more details about my past work and a senior project. The HR associate posed questions about how I would approach various workplace situations, and I responded based on my prior experiences. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed. The process concluded with a tour of the facility. It was a positive interview experience.
