Behavioral Presentation

I had a back-to-back interview with the company. The questions were pretty basic, and if you have a good personality and seem enthusiastic, they'll probably hire you. The second interview was more about explaining the role, and they said people could choose between door-to-door or inside sales. When I mentioned my inside sales experience, they seemed less interested and wanted to finish the interview quickly. They said I'd hear back within a week about whether I got the job, but I never did. It felt unprofessional because they didn't even bother to follow up or give me a timeline like they promised.

Behavioral Other

I applied online and got a call about 30 minutes later. An interview was scheduled for the next day. They were very responsive and quick to move things along. The interview was informal, the interviewer didn't introduce himself and gave me a personality test to fill out before our conversation. It was hard to get a clear idea of the job's scope. The position I applied for was not the position I was offered. They didn't mention the offered position until I asked. To my understanding, you have to work your way up. The offered position was Marketing, which I understood to be a door-to-door role, but they explained you could move up quickly as you learned and performed well. The questions asked were standard. Their pay structure (base plus commission) made it hard to estimate earnings. The offered position had a base salary of $400/week with low commission on appointments set ($20 each, increasing if you set more than 3 a day). Commission was higher ($150 each) on appointments that the customer kept, after the first one per week, with most people averaging 4. There were other bonus opportunities. Standard benefits were offered.

They told me about the company and its future. Then they gave me the job details and let me ask questions. I met with the hiring managers and they asked me some tough questions, but I think I did okay lol.
