Sales Representative
Applied online, got an email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went well and I was given an assessment to complete. Once completed I was scheduled for a video interview. The video interview went well and I was told that they would like to offer me the position. The whole process took about two weeks.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage a challenging customer interaction?
Customer Service Representative
It was a mass interview process that was quick and efficient at a local hotel. After checking in, I answered a questionnaire, met some staff, had a pre-interview, and took an assessment. Then there was a second interview. Some people got on-the-spot job offers, while others got callbacks. The staff at the HomeServe job fair were friendly, helpful, and knew a lot about the company. It was a 'big' process because a lot was done in one afternoon, but I didn't feel rushed. They paid good attention to detail, especially since the job fair was offsite.
- What would you do if a customer complained about xyz?
Marketing Specialist
The initial interviews were pretty good, everyone seemed friendly and knew their stuff. But the final interview with the chief marketing manager was a different story. He acted really superior and mostly talked about himself. He even made fun of my previous work experience, calling it "smoke and mirrors." They rejected me because they said I didn't have an analytical background, even though he kept saying they'd train us during the interview. If you're looking for a marketing job, I'd suggest looking somewhere else.
- Can you tell us about your background?
Repair Management
The interview process starts with a conversation with a department leader, which could be a supervisor or both a supervisor and a team lead. If that goes well, the next step is usually meeting with the assistant manager of the department or someone from HR. There was also a test where I had to listen to a recorded call and then answer questions about it.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
