They started with some basic questions about my job history. Then they described the pay structure and how it works. My main concern with the pay was that it seemed to show a lack of trust in employees, as if they were helping you when they were actually just holding back earnings. I believe saving should be the employee's responsibility. If they can't hire responsible reps, then that's a problem in itself. We talked about the hours, which are 9 AM to 7 PM Monday to Friday, and 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays. They mentioned a great work-life balance, which I found humorous given those hours.

I got a text to schedule an interview even though I don't remember applying. The company's website looked legit and the job on there was really cool. When I got there, they handed me a 10-page packet to fill out, which included an application and tax forms that you're usually supposed to fill out after you're hired. The office was pretty basic, not a lot of staff or furniture. They led me through a warehouse to an office that was covered in papers, and the guy at the desk was texting for the first 5 minutes I was there. When we started talking, he went on about how amazing the company is. I mentioned I didn't recall applying and thought they might have found my resume on Indeed or LinkedIn, but he insisted that wasn't the case and they don't do that. He then asked if I'd been told about the job and the hours. I said no, and he got annoyed, saying someone wasn't doing their job. After that, he described the 'Marketing' role, and I realized it wasn't what was advertised at all. It turned out to be a door-to-door sales job, working 6 days a week from 1 pm to 8 pm, and for way less pay than advertised. He then asked if I was interested, and I was honest, saying no because I'm actually looking for a marketing job. He got really rude after that and said he'd shred my resume, then pretty much ignored me as I left. I definitely wouldn't recommend this interview, the misleading job ad, or this company to anyone.

They seemed unorganized from the beginning. Nobody was aware of my interview scheduled for that morning. However, they proceeded with it anyway and were very polite. Interestingly, another person with the same job title also had a meeting scheduled that nobody was aware of.

It was a very warming interview that gave me a feeling of "are you ready for your life to change?" and it 100% did. They asked how much money I was looking for and how much time I needed. All my expectations were met within the first seven months of employment.
