Customer Service Representative
I applied back in November and finally had my interview. It was an online interview and I was asked 6 questions. For the strengths-based questions, I had a 5-second timer, and for the behavior-based questions, I had 30 seconds, which was helpful for using the STAR method.
- Tell me about a time you had to make a difficult decision.
- How do you keep yourself motivated to finish a task?
- Describe a situation where you delivered a project by its deadline.
Customer Service Representative
Applied online in October, it took a while to get a response because they were hiring many people. The interview was pre-recorded, and I had 7 days to finish it. Each answer could be between 1-5 minutes long. The questions were a mix of strengths-based (no prep needed) and behavior-based (prep recommended). For behavior questions, I had more time and was advised to use the STAR method. There was one icebreaker question, and the last part was just showing my ID. The questions related to my application form, so I used that as a guide for preparation.
- Can you share an instance where you had to make a decision that was objective and impartial?
- Describe a situation where you focused on enhancing customer service and the steps you took.
- Tell me about a time your communication skills led to a positive result.
Customer Service Representative
Had a video interview with 2 behavior questions and 2 strengths questions, plus some ice breakers. Each behavior question was 4 minutes, and each strength question was 2 minutes. Then there was an ID check which will always fail, and they'll ask you to bring your ID to their office to verify it.
- Tell me about a time you had to make an effective decision when information was conflicting.
- Describe a situation where you had to work within a tight deadline.
- How do you manage your work when you are under pressure?
