I missed a call for an interview, called them back 7 minutes later, explained I missed it and apologized. They said they would call back but I haven't heard anything since.

The hiring process took about 3 weeks to get an interview and over a week to get a reply. When I arrived, the manager was in a meeting with other senior staff members and wasn't even informed by the area manager that they had interviews scheduled, what time, or how many. From the moment I entered, I felt the manager didn't really want new staff, they were just told they had to hire people. The interview itself was easy, but the notes the manager took were very brief and not enough to give a fair representation. It almost felt like the manager just wanted to see what you look like and then dismiss you.

The interview was super chill and went by fast. I talked with the store's assistant manager, who was really easygoing and made things way less stressful. Being only 16, this was my first-ever interview, and I was a total wreck beforehand, but the interviewer was a genuinely nice guy and even gave me a hand with a few of the questions! They asked me 6 questions, but I only remember 5, which I've listed below. I also had to provide my name, address, and age. They had sent me a form via email that I needed to print and fill out beforehand. The email said I ABSOLUTELY needed ID and photocopies, but it turned out I didn't need them at all. The interviewer mentioned I'd hear back on Monday, but I actually got a call Sunday afternoon from the same assistant manager saying I got the job and asking when would be good for me to start. I'm starting in a few days with training, and I'm pretty stoked. All in all, a really good experience.
