It was a long interview, really informative, and they made me feel comfortable and welcome. The environment was positive. They went over the job duties, what they expect, and the benefits in detail. They also gave me a thorough background on the company, including where they have locations and the different services they offer. I met a few staff members too. They were open to my questions and concerns about the job and how the hiring process works. They explained what the next steps are. They were upfront about the qualifications needed and the salary/pay scale.

Applied online and was contacted two months later by a recruiter for a face-to-face interview. Interviewed with the recruiter for about 45 min, then with a departmental manager for about 30 min. The manager introduced me to employees and spoke positively about the company. My referrals were contacted the next day, and one was told an offer would be extended. After two days without hearing back, I emailed and called the recruiter before she called me for a second interview. In the second interview, I met with one more person along with the recruiter. They seemed impressed with my qualifications. A week later, I received an email stating I did not get an offer. I was disappointed and asked the recruiter why, and she said I lacked acute care background, which was on my resume. I don't think this was the real reason, and the recruiter didn't communicate her concerns well.

I was called in for an interview that was supposed to start at 10am with the pharmacy manager. The manager and her assistant were late, showing up at 10:15, and then cut the interview short because they had a meeting. I didn't hear back for two weeks, and they never responded to my email. I called the hospital's main line to reach HR. A recruiter there said they had no record of my interview but promised to look into it and call me back. Five days later, I was told I needed to do a phone interview. I mentioned I'd already been in for an interview, and the person transferred me to the recruiter who scheduled a phone screen for the next day at 9am. The next day came and went with no call or email. It seems like these people don't value time and communication isn't a priority.

I initially had a quick 20-minute phone chat with an HR recruiter. We talked about my background, education, and they threw in some hypothetical 'what would you do if...' type questions. The next day, they reached out to set up an in-person interview with the head RN of the ED. This meeting was super short, only about 10-15 minutes, just me and the head RN. After that, I was scheduled for a shadow day where I followed a seasoned RN on the floor for about 4 hours. I chatted with the head RN again that day, and she pretty much said I had the job pending the background check. I got a call back soon after confirming I got the position.
