Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Holder Construction.
Intern
It was mostly a get to know you on a personal level interview. There were not many technical questions, more questions geared towards, where do you want to go and what kind of career do you want after you graduate.
- Why are you interested in Holder?
- Why do you want to work here?
Intern
Got referred to HR by a current Holder associate. HR called to schedule an interview, and I set it up. I went in for the interview. Everyone was really nice and made me feel welcome. I had a one-on-one with HR, and then I met the department heads I'd be working with. The interview went well, and I got a call offering me the job. I accepted, and got a welcome packet a few days later.
- What contributions do you think you can make to Holder?
Co-Op
It was a straightforward chat where they asked me about myself, then told me about their company and what they do. The interviewer also shared some of his own experiences. The whole thing took about 30 minutes, and the interviewer was good.
- How would your friends describe you
