A recruiter reached out about the role, and it felt professional. They answered my questions. The test was straightforward, and I got good feedback. First, I spoke with Talent Acquisition. Then, I had a more in-depth meeting with a designer, where we discussed office culture and social dynamics. I then decided to accept another offer and let them know.
- How would you respond if you witnessed a coworker being teased at work?
Designer
A recruiter called me for a brief phone interview. Then, someone from the design team interviewed me and gave me a 7-day challenge. I submitted it, but never heard back. I followed up twice and was told I was still a candidate but there was no decision. I didn't even get feedback on my work. After 2 months, they never contacted me again to say yes, no, or apologize for wasting my time.
- What area of design do you have the most experience in?
Designer
The interview process was quite fast. I started with a phone screen that was straightforward, asking basic questions, and it seemed like they were keen to move me to the next stage. After that, I was given a Photoshop project to complete and submit, which wasn't too challenging. Then, I had a meeting with the manager, who was friendly and asked a few quick questions. Finally, I received an offer.
- Can you describe your experience working with Adobe Photoshop?
