Medical Writer
This HMP Global interview experience was really disappointing and frustrating. I went through several interview rounds, did a written gap analysis, and was even told I got the job with details on benefits and start dates. Then, they suddenly said their 'organizational needs changed.' They promised to follow up when they were ready to hire, but I never heard back. To make things worse, they reposted the job without any explanation. I reached out, and they said they'd contact me 'if I am eligible for an interview.' It felt like they were using candidates with advanced degrees to do internal work they couldn't handle. They keep reposting the same job, which shows a lack of respect for the time and effort applicants put in. This is the first review I've ever written, but I feel I have to warn others. It seems like they don't follow fair or respectful hiring practices. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company.
- They mainly assessed my background in my specific research areas.
Accounting Associate
The hiring and interview process with HMP was pretty solid. I was first recruited for an interview with HR, then had two more zoom interviews with the Controller and CFO. They originally went with another candidate, but then they contacted me again later. I did a quick catch up with HR, and then had one final zoom with the higher ups again. Everyone I spoke with was very kind, everything was straight forward and clear, and expectations were very up front. Once I was hired, HR got me set up quickly with paperwork. Overall, I had a very positive experience getting this position.

Project Director
It was a positive interview experience overall, though there was a lack of follow-up communication after the final stages. I had some really good discussions with the leadership team, and they even had me work on some project deliverables as part of the process. The conversations were interesting, and the team seemed to know their stuff about the industry. But, after I finished the last interview with the senior leaders, I never heard back about the status of the role. Getting even a quick update or some kind of closure would have made the whole candidate experience so much better, especially considering how much time I put into it. The interviews themselves were good, but better communication at the end would really help out future candidates.
- Can you tell me about your experience with standard project management approaches?
- What is your desired salary range?
- Are you able to complete the project deliverables?
Marketing Specialist
Applied to a Marketing Specialist role after seeing their LinkedIn ad and submitting my resume and cover letter. When I got there, another candidate was just leaving, likely for the same job. The interview was pretty standard, and I felt I connected well with the two interviewers. I thought I did well enough to get the job, but I never heard back. I tried calling, no answer, and emailed, also no response. After another email, they finally replied saying the position was filled. It felt disrespectful to interviewees and potential employees, which makes me wonder what the actual workplace is like.
