The interview was split into two parts, first the HR team and then the architects interviewed me on different days. The first interview was via Zoom, and the second one was in person at the office.

Behavioral Presentation

This was for the HKS office in Atlanta, GA. The interview process was pretty smooth, even though I didn't end up getting the job because our schedules didn't line up. They were really friendly and seemed more interested in getting to know me as a person, not just what software I knew. The whole thing lasted about 45 minutes, and they genuinely listened to my questions about what the job would be like. To wrap things up, they gave me a tour of the office, which was a nice touch.

Behavioral

I had a virtual interview over zoom with two recruiters who are also architects. The conversation was good and they seemed interested. But the interview had a time limit and they had to go to the next interview. I still had questions for them so I emailed them. It took two weeks for a response, so I emailed again and still nothing. I feel it's disrespectful and disappointing to interview someone and then ghost them.

HKS Architect Interview Questions

Quoted word for word from HKS interview reports.

The main thing on my mind was 'what salary will I get?' I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask directly, so I waited for a private call from management to bring it up.
