It was a screening type interview. They asked some questions about your interests and how they relate to the company. They also explain the internship to you and ask you to choose which of the 4 departments you want to work in. The next one was with the person you'd be working with in your department of choice. Both were very chill, just be likable and yourself.

I submitted my resume through the portal and didn't hear back until I connected with an employee who suggested I apply. Then, I got a surprise HR call where they asked me interview questions without any heads-up. They invited me for two on-site interviews. The first was over 2 hours, and the second was over 4 hours, involving several short answers, meeting with management, a case study, and a role-play exercise. They told me multiple times I'd hear back, but each time they requested more information. By the time they made an offer, I had already accepted another position.

It was a really drawn out process--everyone I met was super smart and nice, but I wasn't always sure if I'd hear back. I ended up getting rejected (basically by default), even though I had multiple interviews at the Columbia Medical Location. They said they'd follow up, so I reached out again after a week. Nobody responded, which was a bummer because I liked the people and would have appreciated some feedback.
