It was an online interview that started with 'Tell me about yourself'. Then, they checked reading and writing abilities. This included writing a sentence based on information provided and creating a PowerPoint presentation about the company. I didn't hear back after the test.

The interviewer was nice and asked about my background. After that, you'll do three "day in the life" exercises. They didn't ask me if I had questions, so remember to bring that up at the end if you have any. I met the chair in the second interview, and we went over my background and past experiences again. He was very nice and I felt very welcome. In my third meeting, I met with the head designer. They just wanted to know more about my experiences and what I could help with.

It was a long and drawn-out process. I first spoke with someone after I proactively sent a personal email expressing my interest in the job. I learned during the interview process that the team wasn't well-structured. I was way overqualified for the position but was still willing to consider it. I spoke with the CEO last, after he missed our first scheduled call. I asked him so many good questions that he stuttered to answer some. About a week after that, I received a decline notification, and I'm sure it was because they couldn't afford me.

It was a really drawn out process--everyone I met was super smart and nice, but I wasn't always sure if I'd hear back. I ended up getting rejected (basically by default), even though I had multiple interviews at the Columbia Medical Location. They said they'd follow up, so I reached out again after a week. Nobody responded, which was a bummer because I liked the people and would have appreciated some feedback.
