Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hireology.
Account Representative
It was a simple phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting with three managers and one person from the legal department. While one manager seemed alright, the others came across as arrogant and fake, making me wonder about working there. The role itself also seemed a bit silly. They even used their own software during the interview to gauge my suitability for the company. As someone who doesn't trust hiring software and was just looking for a job, it was pretty funny to watch them do that.
- Can you share details about your previous sales quotas and achievements?
Account Representative
Phone screen with recruiter, asked about background and what Hireology is looking for. Then an in person interview with two managers, 30 minutes each. Showed up early but the first manager was 25 minutes late, cutting the time short. Asked only 2-3 questions each. No response for 2 weeks, then feedback that situational questions weren't answered specifically enough. Felt rushed and didn't get a fair chance.
- How would you deal with objections?
- What's your approach to resolving issues with a coworker?
Account Representative
I had a great interview experience with Hireology. My recruiter was very personable and available for all questions. It was great that they sent me a text to remind me of my interview too and we were able to use SMS for communication throughout the process.
- If you could describe yourself as anyone dead or alive, who would that be?
