First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hines.
Administrative Assistant
The first interview had 4 people, and it was laid back and conversational. They were upfront about the job demands. The second interview was with 2 senior managers and was also pretty easy and conversational.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to work with or for someone who was difficult?
Administrative Assistant
The interview process involved four interviews and lasted approximately one month. I was disappointed with how long it took and the lack of communication throughout. It started with a phone screen with HR, followed by an onsite interview at their office with two property managers where they asked about my motivation for joining and my strengths/weaknesses. The last two interviews, with another property manager and potential coworkers, felt quite informal and seemed to repeat questions I had already answered.
- Why are you interested in working for Hines?
- Could you please go through your resume with us?
- Tell us about your strengths.
Administrative Assistant
The whole process took about 3 weeks. After submitting my resume, they scheduled a phone interview a few days later. After the phone interview, they scheduled an in-person interview for the next day. I had the in-person interview a week later. A few days after that, they asked for references. However, it's been over a month, and they never contacted my references or responded to my follow-up email.
