Sales Representative
It was a pretty normal interview for a sales role but more upbeat - fine and professional - they gave a good overview of the role and what the day to day would be like.
- How do you find success in sales?
Inbound Sales Representative
I applied in the evening, and the next afternoon they emailed me to complete a registration form. This form asked for personal info and details about my past employment experiences. After I submitted that, the next morning, they got back to me that same afternoon to invite me for an onsite interview. I had applied two days before a hiring event for inbound sales reps, which I think is why they were getting back to people early. The interview itself was pretty easy, with only three situational questions. The interviewer, Brian, made it feel more like a conversation than an interview.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with a challenging customer and successfully resolved the situation to their satisfaction?
- Describe a difficult situation you encountered and the specific steps you took to overcome it.
- How do you typically handle objections that arise in sales interactions?
Sales Representative
It's usually a 3-part interview. First, you'll do a phone call. Then, you've got to do this video thing where you answer 3-7 questions, and you record yourself. They're pre-set questions, and you get 3 tries to practice before you submit it. After all that, you'll have a face-to-face interview with about 2 or 3 of the top managers.
- What strengths do you possess that would contribute to your success in this role?
