The initial job training was adequate, but much of the learning happens on the job, as some skills are best acquired through practical experience. I don't remember if it was before or after my phone interview, but I was asked to do an "online interview" through an automated system in which they sent the link and instructions. This was recorded and very awkward, so I felt like I ruined my chance at ever getting the job! But... I was contacted by a recruiter for Hilton Grand Vacations who then scheduled a phone interview. This was brief and basically talked about the position and its benefits as well as explaining my working experience. I was then asked to go to the Hilton location and meet in person with the hiring managers. I met with three different managers and discussed my work experience as well as gave brief role plays as to why I would be good at the job and how I would handle dealing with guests. The management was very friendly and the interview went well! I was then contacted by the recruiter and got the job!

You'll start with a digital interview and an online assessment, then come in for an in-person interview. The digital interview uses HireVue, where you get some time to think and then two tries to record your video answer (3 minutes max each). The online assessment has multiple-choice questions or a drag-and-drop preference ranking to understand your personality, motivations, and values.
