The interview process was pretty quick and to the point. First, I had a call with a recruiter to see if I was interested and a good fit for an open position. If that went well, I then spoke with the engineering manager who asked more about my technical background and what I've done. After that, I was given a take-home assignment to do in my own time. Once I sent that in, the last technical interview involved debugging and reviewing code. Two engineers from the team looked at my submission with me, and they asked me to fix some bugs they found and/or add new features. The very last interview was with the CEO. I really liked how the technical part of the interview felt more like the actual job, unlike some live leetcode problems. And the people I met were all really great.

Overall the interview process is nice and people are polite. There are three technical interviews: a talk with the technical manager, a take-home assignment, and a live coding session. It's a very time-consuming interview but that's fine. You know this upfront but they don't provide conscious feedback. After going through all the steps, I just received a generic email saying I wasn't a good fit. When I asked for more detailed feedback on my last interview (the live coding), I didn't hear from them, which is very frustrating. You put a lot of effort into a process, and they can't even get ten minutes (or less) of their time to say why you weren't selected for the position.

So, there were 4 rounds plus a take-home assignment. It kicked off with a recruiter chat on Zoom, then I had a talk with the hiring manager, also on Zoom. After that, there was a React take-home project, which was pretty reasonable and practical. The technical interview came next, and that was really cool. I talked to a couple of engineers, and we went over the take-home project, fixing bugs and adding some new stuff. They gave me plenty of time to ask questions too, which was great for getting to know them and the company better. Lastly, I had a Zoom call with the CEO to go over my background, what I'm seeking in a job, and different things about the company. It was all pretty nice, even though I took another job.
