Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hightower Advisors.
Client Service Associate
So there were 4 interviews for this role. First, a quick phone call with the recruiter. Then, the team wanted to talk to me, so they set up a zoom meeting with the managing partners. Right after that, another zoom interview was scheduled with the staff for an assessment, which was later that week. Finally, I had to go in for an in-person interview with everyone on the team. The whole thing was done in about 3 weeks, which was super fast.
- I had to role play a scenario where I was onboarding a client.
Client Service Associate
A week after applying online, I had a phone interview with the talent acquisition manager at Hightower, who was really nice. A few weeks later, the partners set up an in-person interview at their office. They then scheduled another interview at their office where they asked me a few more questions before extending an offer.
- Can you share what aspects of your current job you enjoy and what you find less appealing?
Client Service Associate
The process was pretty thorough, I met everyone on the team over two separate times. The questions were pretty standard, mostly behavioral.
- Tell me about a time you had a poor experience with a client.
