Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HighRadius.
Project Manager
First screened by the TA and a second level discussion by the Senior Manager HR. Once selected, they put you through the Director round, followed by the SVP/VP round. The last one is a tough one, as the new expectations arise and difficult to convince.
- Can you walk me through a project you managed, explaining your approach from start to finish and detailing your key accomplishments as listed on your resume?
Project Manager
I applied through a job portal and got a call from HR the same day. They wanted to check if I was a good fit and told me about the company. Then I had a round with an Associate Director, followed by a round with a VP of consulting. The final round was with HR to discuss culture fit and salary. It all went well and I was impressed by their efficiency. I got feedback from HR the day after the last interview without needing to chase them.
- Given that this is a PM role, could you share details about your project and scenario-based experiences?
- It would be beneficial to research our company website to understand our products and their functionality.
Project Manager
I went through 3 interview rounds. First was with HR, then the line manager, and the final round was with the VP of Consulting. HR told me to block off half a day for the second interview, expecting it to run over 2 hours. The last interview also went over 2 hours, and we reviewed my CV in detail. The offer came in lower than my current package, which was disappointing. HR knew my salary expectations from the first interview but didn't share their budget, only saying my expectations were 'possible' and would be discussed with the line manager. That discussion didn't happen, even though HR extended the offer. It felt like a waste of time for everyone since I wouldn't have proceeded if I'd known their budget upfront.
- What lessons did you take away from this experience?
