I’ve been ghosted by this company three times over the past year and a half. I’ve interviewed twice and never heard back, even after following up. A hiring manager contacted me, but never responded when I gave my availability for an interview, and they didn’t respond to my follow-up. During interviews, they make you feel comfortable. However, in my last interview, it seemed they were interviewing to meet a quota. They didn’t ask real questions about me, my experience, or availability, and were evasive when I asked standard questions. I never got a rejection email for any position, but my profile showed an application status mislabeled as if I had turned down a position. I tried to follow-up but got no response. I’ve seen similar experiences on this forum; mine are not unique. This is disrespectful of an applicant’s time and sends contradictory messages about company values.

The hiring process was the best experience for me. Communication was great and the interview team was very professional. I was interviewed by the recruiter initially, met with the hiring manager, another employee relations manager, and then met with the vice president of HR. The hiring manager and employee relations manager traveled to meet with me and then I traveled to meet with the vice president of HR. Overall was a great experience and felt respected through the process.

Don’t be fooled, they already have someone in mind most of the time, often a friend they clique with. Corporate policy. They have this practice of discriminating against minorities, especially those without “white characters”, for management positions. You can see it at the director level and above, only white males, and they want to keep it that way. It feels more like a fraternity rush week than an interview.
