Account Executive
I was contacted by an outside recruiter for this role and they were really hyped about the position and all the great perks. It made me really want the job. The recruiter was great. But then I had my first interview with the Area Director and I started to get worried. These directors really need some training. I was supposed to meet with two directors but when I got there, it was just one because they changed the plan. I got invited back for a second interview, which went really well. They said they'd call me to set up the ride along day, the last part. I sent thank you notes and followed up, but never heard back. The director never called me back or emailed me. So disappointing. They said I'd get a book of business right away, but that's not true. You have to work for about 6 months to prove yourself before they give you one. One of the directors also told me that if you're not on track to make a certain salary, you'll be fired. Like, if you're projected to make $65k, that's not good enough and you should expect to be let go because you're not selling enough. Your base pay plus allowances is just over $40k. That's weird. They asked me a question about what I would do with an extra $20k-$25k a year in compensation, my goals, and what I'd do with that money. I said I wanted to fix up my house, like get a new door, kitchen floor, and appliances. The director thought that was 'stupid' and said I should buy a fancy car. That was lame and made me really skeptical about hibu. You should look them up. They had some big changes and financial issues in the past.

Account Executive
I had an hour-long phone chat with the recruiter. We had a great conversation and she explained all the job requirements and salary benefits. She also went over the training process and the kind of leadership support I'd get.

Account Executive
I met the DSM at a local Panera for a very relaxed and friendly interview. The DSM was the motivating force to accept the account executive (outside sales) position. I had 9 years of previous related experience.
