Customer Service Advisor
I applied online, then did an online assessment. After that, I had a call with the recruiter and then a Teams interview with the hiring manager. I'm still waiting to hear back about the decision. The hiring manager was really nice and understanding, very supportive! It felt more like a chat.
- Can you share an instance where you motivated your colleagues?
- What is your understanding of HMRC?
- Describe how you've handled pressure during a busy day.
Customer Service Advisor
I applied online and was invited to an interview later that week. The interview lasted about 3 hours in total. It started with a three-part skills test covering IT, numeracy, and literacy. Then, we did a "Desert Island" group activity. After that, there were some 1-on-1 interviews, which were the shortest part. They asked 4 questions, which seemed like they chose them randomly from a list. Everyone was really friendly, and the interview felt more like a casual chat than a formal Q&A.
- What is your understanding of Customer Service?
Customer Service Advisor
Applied through indeed, then got an online assessment which I failed. Was told this after chasing up. Then got an email for a telephone interview. Then the same online test was sent again. Didn't pass interview because I didn't have qualifications or someone else had better ones. The job didn't say qualifications were needed. I had the experience. Feedback wasn't clear.
- Tell me one thing you like about yourself, doesn't matter if it's work related?
- Why do you feel you're a good fit for this position?
- What were your duties in your previous customer service job?
