It was a long interview process. First, I got a contact for a screening call to know more about me and my past work. Then, about a week later, I had my first Zoom interview with the recruiter. Three months after that, the recruiter reached out again for an onsite interview. This onsite involved a plant tour, a panel interview, I had to give a presentation about a past project, and then I had lunch with the Engineering Team. The same week, the recruiter asked for references. A week after that, I received a conditional job offer. They also did background checks and medical/drug screenings. After everything was cleared, they sent the official offer with the salary, which I negotiated. I started the job about 6 weeks after the onsite interview, roughly 4 months after the initial contact. This was with the best company I've worked for. It's worth noting I was employed when this process was happening, or I might have looked for other jobs because I needed one.

It seemed like the interviewers had good questions, and I do think they knew what they were talking about. It sounded like they had scripted questions for me, which were pretty basic to me.

Behavioral Group

We had a round table interview with two groups of 3-4 interviewers. These are pretty common interview questions. They are really looking for personality and team fit in this interview. There were a couple of phone interviews before the face-to-face, so if you've made it this far you are technically sound for the job, this is just to see if you mesh with the team.
