First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hexaware Technologies.
Software Engineer
It was an on-campus drive. Round 1 was a group discussion, split into teams of 20, but my team had 17. The HR asked about life partners, and 9 of us got selected for the next round. Round 2 was an aptitude and coding test on the Cocubes platform. Round 3 involved project work where we were split into teams of 4 from our university. Round 4 was the project evaluation, part of the Hexaware premier league, where projects were presented on stage. Based on this, one person from each team got a direct offer. Round 5 was the final HR interview. My panel's HR was focused on eliminating candidates, so no one from my panel was selected.

So, the hiring process had four parts. First, we did a Group Discussion, which was basically to see how well we could communicate and work together. Then, there was an online test covering general aptitude and some technical stuff. After that, if you passed, you had a Technical Interview where they really dug into what you knew about the field. The last step was an HR Interview, where they wanted to get a feel for your personality, what you wanted to do, and if you'd fit in with the company culture.
- Can you discuss a project you have completed?
Software Engineer
It started with a Group Discussion to check communication skills, which was pretty chill and easy. Then came an aptitude and basic coding round, both were simple. After that, the shortlisted people had a technical interview. They asked questions from my area of interest, plus some basic stuff about Operating Systems and Computer Networks.
- Could you answer some basic SQL and Python questions?
- Can you explain the OSI Layers in Computer Networks?
- Tell me about the projects you've done in your area of interest.
