First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hertz.
Revenue Manager
I had a really bad time interviewing with Hertz Mexico. The whole thing was a mess. First off, nobody communicated well. It took forever to hear back about my application, which was super annoying and felt unprofessional. Then, during the actual interview, the interviewers seemed bored and unprepared. They clearly hadn't even looked at my resume properly because they just asked basic questions that didn't even fit my background. They were also really unengaging, which made it hard to show what I could do. The whole interview process was also really unclear. They didn't tell me much about the company culture, what the job would actually be like, or if there were chances to grow. This made me wonder if Hertz Mexico actually cares about their employees and helping them develop. On top of all that, the feedback afterward was useless. No real criticism or clear reasons why I didn't get the job, so I had no idea what I could do better. So yeah, my interview experience with Hertz Mexico was not good at all. Poor communication, unprepared interviewers, and a general lack of clarity made me feel bad about the company's efforts to create a positive workplace. I'd tell anyone thinking about applying to seriously think if this is the kind of place they want to work before putting in the effort.

Sales Manager
Since I was interviewing from out of state, all my interviews were over the phone. They went progressively through upper management, for a total of three interviews before I got the offer. The first interview was with a panel of people: the Location Manager, two Assistant Managers, and the Regional Manager who would be my direct boss. The second interview was just me and the Regional Manager. The third interview was also 1:1, but this time with the Area Manager, who was the Regional Manager's boss.

Revenue Manager
First, a recruiter called me to confirm my interest and we chatted for about five minutes. They set up a second call for the following week. During the second call, the recruiter spoke with me for twenty minutes, confirming I was qualified and understood the job's responsibilities. They mentioned they'd call back if they wanted to proceed, and indeed, within five minutes, they called to schedule a panel interview for three weeks later. The third step was the panel interview with four directors. They were very familiar with my resume beforehand. They asked about my understanding of the job and had many questions about my grasp of supply and demand. They were also quite interested in my relevant job history, asking many questions about what I did and how I did it. At the end, they said they'd call to set up a one-on-one meeting with the VP if they were interested. The fourth step, three days later, involved the recruiter calling me in for a test – an IQ test that took forty-five minutes. Afterward, they said they'd call me. A week later, the recruiter called to inform me they were making me an offer, which I accepted.
