First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hertz.
Intern
The interview was about 20 minutes, much shorter than I anticipated. It felt really relaxed and nice with the HR person. She asked me two questions, like what made me pick my major and decide to study in America, and why I applied for this specific job. I also got to ask her two questions. That was it. I didn't hear back after that, so I emailed HR four days later to ask about the next steps, but she didn't reply.
- Why did you choose to apply for this position?
Intern
The interview process was super easy. They do all the interviews in person on the same day. It was fast from when the recruiter reached out to when I got the offer. The people interviewing me were chill and had a practical approach. They interviewed me like a normal chat to get to know me.
- Tell me about a time you had to deliver bad news.
Intern
I went through about 3 interviews with two of the directors for the department I was applying for. They were really nice and easy to speak with. Be prepared to answer questions about your background and why you're interested in the position.
- Can you share a challenge you faced and how you managed to get past it?
