Behavioral Case

You will have a one on one interview with the regional manager after you pass the first round with the current store manager. Dress appropriate for the position. Seems to be much more lacks these days but take pride in how you look. It will take place in the ‘diamond room’ for privacy.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied for a store manager job and heard back from a hiring manager about a week later. She asked me about my sales and jewelry experience, even though my resume clearly stated I had been a jewelry store manager before. The next interview was with a higher-up manager who was really arrogant and condescending. By then, I wasn't interested in working for Helzberg Diamonds anymore. Then, they told me the interview was actually for a sales associate position, not the store manager one I applied for. They said they like to start people at the bottom and have them work their way up. This bait and switch just confirmed my doubts about the company.

Behavioral

I interviewed with the Regional Sales Manager. Their challenge questions were a bit insulting, seeming more focused on showing off their position than finding a hiring solution. They rambled about their personal knowledge and gains, clearly trying to make an impression. Despite this, my retail sales experience, including senior management roles, mostly spoke for itself. It just became a matter of letting the process play out.
