Office Manager
It's a very casual interview process. Being friendly and open really helps. You don't need prior jewelry experience, as everything is taught during an 8-week course.

Office Manager
I was greeted by a jeweler on the floor and then taken to the diamond room. The manager interviewed me. She asked questions relevant to the position and it was clear she had researched my resume. After that, I was given the opportunity to ask questions. We had a lengthy discussion about the role. It was a very positive interview.
- As an office manager at Heltzberg, a part of the job is selling jewelry on the floor. Is this something you are comfortable doing?
Assistant Manager
The entire hiring process spanned over a month from the initial application submission. There were three interviews in total. The process has recently been updated to be more efficient and faster, with fewer interviews and less bureaucracy before an offer is extended. Furthermore, a significant portion of the new process is now conducted online without direct interaction. By the time a face-to-face interview is scheduled, the hiring manager has generally already decided on the candidate. It's advisable to consider willingness to relocate, as you might be asked to accept a position in a different location for career progression or due to business requirements, which could be a better fit.
- Can you tell me about your career aspirations and how they align with this role?
- How does this opportunity fit with your personal and professional desires?
- What are your expectations regarding this position and the company?
