Customer Service Representative
I got referred by someone who saw the opening on Indeed. This company is growing fast and they really move things along with the hiring process. I applied, got an email back, and then there were a few email 'tests' – one was to check my internet speed since it's a remote job. After that, I had an online video interview. They sent me a job offer the very next day, and I was in training within days. It was great, no time wasted, very efficient, they clearly know what they want, and it's been one of the best hiring experiences I've ever had.
- How do you plan to stay engaged and motivated when the job tasks become routine over time?
Customer Support Representative
first contact via WhatsApp, they ask you to send a recording answering some questions to assess your English. Then, they ask you to take some exams to check your writing and send you customer service scenarios to answer. They send you another exam to see if you know how to use technology. Finally, the HR manager conducts a 30-minute interview via Google Meet, which is recorded and sent to the client. They give you the final decision from the foreign client in charge of the account in two or three days.
- What would you do to provide excellent customer service?
Customer Service Representative
I had an interview scheduled for Friday, December 1st, 2023, via Zoom. I ended up waiting on the call for over two hours and tried reaching out to HR multiple times through email and on Zoom, but got no response. I wasn't informed until later that evening that the interview had to be rescheduled. They rescheduled my interview for the following Monday. During the interview, they told me my orientation date, start date, the position I'd be working, and my pay. Throughout the interview, they spoke as if I already had the job offer, never saying 'if you get the position,' but instead saying 'here's your start date.' Even with customer service experience, it might not be enough for them. They mentioned other positions you could apply for, but it makes you wonder if you'd have enough experience for those roles either. It was a very unprofessional company that doesn't seem to value the time of employees or potential employees.
- How do you handle situations when customers are angry?
