The Helpware interview process had three parts. First, a general interview with easy, basic questions. Second, a more specific part with logical and practical tasks, like writing an email, solving problems, etc. Lastly, I had to record a short video intro where I talked about myself and a role-related topic.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Beyond general questions, I was asked to tackle logical and mathematical problems, which were designed to assess my problem-solving approach and ability to perform under pressure rather than just finding the correct answers.

I got referred by someone who saw the opening on Indeed. This company is growing fast and they really move things along with the hiring process. I applied, got an email back, and then there were a few email 'tests' – one was to check my internet speed since it's a remote job. After that, I had an online video interview. They sent me a job offer the very next day, and I was in training within days. It was great, no time wasted, very efficient, they clearly know what they want, and it's been one of the best hiring experiences I've ever had.

It wasn't too tough. After some usual questions, there was a small test to gauge your thoughts on how you'd handle a specific scenario. For the homework, you had to record a video of yourself explaining why they should hire you, and so on.

After I applied, they emailed me the next day for a phone interview. I replied with my availability, but didn't hear back for over a week. I sent two follow-up emails and tried calling, but no one answered. I eventually reached out via Facebook, and the person contacted me again. It turned out my salary expectations were higher than what they were offering.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about your salary expectations and your experience with the specific requirements of this role?
