Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HelloFresh.
Procurement Intern
I had two calls: one with the recruiter to chat about the job and how things work, and then another with the hiring manager. After that, there was a virtual interview and a case study where I had to look at data, present some strategies, and answer some technical questions about the company.
- Which three key performance indicators do we primarily use when deciding on procurement matters?
Procurement Analyst
My interview experience with Hello Fresh started off well with a phone interview, followed by a technical test and then an in-person interview. Unfortunately, the good start was ruined by their lack of communication. I reached out multiple times over the course of a month after my interview, but never heard back. This was especially disappointing because the recruiter had promised feedback and assured me I'd be contacted regardless of the outcome, saying they were usually good about following up. Given the significant time I invested in speaking with them and completing their test, a simple email letting rejected candidates know would have been the minimum expected courtesy.
- What aspect of HelloFresh would you suggest improving?
Supply Chain Planner
The whole process was super clear from the beginning. You always knew what was coming next, and they answered questions really fast. The interviews felt like a real conversation, and even though there were a lot of steps which made it intense, it was great because it helped find the right fit for the company and gave me a good look into the company from different people.
- What is your reason for looking for a new company?
- How do you handle stressful situations?
- What positive qualities do people say about you?
