Had 2 interviews with different managers. They really dug into my project experience and team-building skills. You should be ready to give concrete examples of your problem-solving approach and how you intend to make a difference.

It was a really bad interview experience. I talked to 5 different people over several months at Helix. The last interview was with 2 executives, and it happened less than a week after a family member died. They knew about this. After that interview, one person said I 'checked all the boxes' and that they would 'get back to me the 1st week of Jan, 2023' or 'sooner if possible.' I never heard back, and it's now mid-February 2023. I texted the recruiter I had been talking to the first week of Jan to ask about my application. She said she'd 'find out and get back to me' but never did. I feel it's unprofessional and inconsiderate to leave applicants confused after they've invested so much time. It's alarming that as HR professionals, they ghost applicants instead of giving them closure.

The interview process was wonderful, and I enjoyed going through the stages. It was a great time learning and assessing the potential for future opportunities. They were also fantastic in terms of education and offering great feedback on how we can proceed to improve and grow our business sustainably for future generations and the future. We will continue our journey together.

I got wind of this opening through a colleague and reached out to HR. They set up an interview where they assessed my technical abilities and also conducted a drug test. I was extended an offer on the very same day.
