Basically, no HR communication, they just ignore emails. It's like they don't care about candidates. You interview with HireVue, which basically replaces the recruiter. You record yourself answering questions, and they watch it later to decide if you're good enough to even talk to. So lazy. You answer about 5 questions, get 2 tries to record, and have 2 minutes per answer. It's really uncomfortable and degrading doing one-way interviews. I asked the recruiter if a real person could interview me instead of HireVue, but they just ignored me and rejected me right away. Seems like they just didn't want to do their job and took the easy way out. If they actually cared about candidates, they wouldn't do this.

I went through 3 rounds of phone screen interviews. The first was with my supervisor, the second with 3 teammates, and the third with an engineer. Each lasted about an hour. The vibe was friendly and casual. I came prepared with my own questions and agenda.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole interview process was conducted virtually. Initially, I interviewed with the hiring manager. Subsequently, I met with the VP and director. While everyone seemed pleasant, there was a noticeable lack of alignment within the team regarding the role's requirements and business objectives. The most frustrating aspect was the prolonged silence for five weeks with no updates. Ultimately, HR contacted me to inform me that they were initiating a new search. It initially appeared to be a promising opportunity.
