First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Helen of Troy.
Design Engineer
A recruiter contacted me about 3 months after I applied. The interview involved pre-recorded questions, and there was no face-to-face interaction. I had the option to re-record my answers. Unfortunately, I never heard back after completing the recorded interview.
- Can you share an instance where you were required to make a major design choice?
Product Engineer
The interview process consisted of a Hirevue, which I was not a big fan of because there it is awkward and there is no opportunity for a personal connection. I did not hear back for a month and was then sent a letter saying I was not going to be moving on to the next round.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in this specific job and our company?
- What makes you want to work for this company and in this role?
Product Engineer
The interview process was really nice. The level of accuracy and knowledge expected was high, but all the hiring managers and the department managers are really nice. They are looking to express all the needs of the department aligned with the professional needs. It was really great.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What were your greatest achievements in past roles?
