Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Heidrick & Struggles.
Executive Assistant
I had two interviews: one with the office administrator and another with the director. The office administrator was very kind and attentive. The director was also kind. I was keen to continue with the selection process but didn't have the necessary documents to start very soon.
- Questions related to the daily routine of the position and the needs of the office and the director were asked.
Executive Assistant
The interview process involved multiple rounds of chats with leadership along with a few assessment rounds. The whole thing moved pretty quickly between interviews and assessments, and they gave feedback pretty fast after each part, but after the last round, I never heard back.
- The interviews were more of a conversation rather than a Q&A session.
Administrative Assistant
The process was super professional and they move fast if they like you. It's a very corporate place, so make sure you're on your game. Since it's an Executive Search firm, they'll really dig in to make sure you're the right fit.
- Research the company beforehand, and the questions will be pretty standard.
