Had a quick phone chat to check if I was a good fit for the job. Talked to the recruiter, and she thought I might be better suited for a different role on another team. She said she'd pass my info along to that hiring manager but then I never heard back. I emailed her a few times over weeks to get an update, and she finally responded, saying she'd send my details to the hiring manager. Then, she went quiet again for weeks. I followed up again... and again... At this point, it's obvious she's ghosting me. It would have been great if she could have just replied to my email and let me know what was going on instead of making me chase her so many times.

The process was pretty easy. I talked to a few team members about their experience, then met with the supervisor and directors. The director reached out again, and then they made their decision.

There was a phone screening to go over the job and hiring process and to get to know my background. After that, there were 2 face-to-face interviews. This was the most disrespectful interview I've ever experienced since 2016. The interview lacked professionalism. They said I sounded like I just wanted *a* job, not this specific position. They also said I could email the recruiter or not. Like, who says that? If this is how rude people are during an interview, it totally explains why you're having such a hard time filling the role and why there's such a high turnover rate.
