Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hearts & Science.
Senior Associate
The people I talked to were nice and asked a lot of questions about the job. They asked good questions related to the work. But, I didn't get an email about what happens next, and they didn't reply to my thank you emails.
- How does your past experience align with the requirements of this position?
Associate Strategist
This was such a waste of my time. I was supposed to meet with 3 different people over the span of 45 minutes. When I first arrived, they had 2 people interviewing me at the same time. They only asked 2 questions and then left to get the 3rd person. I waited 10 minutes and they came back and said "we can't find her." They then ended the interview and said they would be in touch. I feel that it was very inconsiderate and unprofessional of them to ask me to come in and waste money on travel expenses just for them to not even take my interview seriously.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in the media industry?
Associate Director
The interview process was fair and professionally conducted. It seemed a little weird that they asked if I would be interested in a Supervisor role instead (one level down and would have been a lateral move for me) but I said no because I wanted to stand my ground that I was more than ready to take on an AMD role.
- Can you share your past experience, specifically within CPG?
