She said she'd look into it and get back to me, which made me think they weren't going to give me good news. My first red flag was when the recruiter suggested I'd have to lower my salary expectations if I was serious about the role. The second red flag was during the interview when it became clear I'd be reporting to three, maybe four, different people with conflicting agendas.

The interview process is pretty straightforward. You start with an HR call, then a technical interview, followed by a meeting with your potential manager. After that, you'll interview with the team, and the final stage is an interview with the department VP.
