First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Health Care Service Corporation.
Customer Service Representative
It was a quick and easy phone interview. The interviewer was very nice and asked the usual questions. It was great not having to worry about what to wear, which also made me less nervous.
- How do you deal with stressful situations
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty fair. Basically just answering some questions online. It took about three weeks, then the hiring manager called to say I'd get an email for background and drug screening, but that was a month ago. I kept checking in, and they just told me to keep waiting. I emailed the hiring manager again yesterday for an update, and I saw on the BCBS portal that it changed from 'under hiring manager review' to 'no longer in consideration.' I guess I didn't get the job, which is confusing since the manager called me.
- Can you describe a situation...?
Customer Service Representative
Went through the entire process, which included an in-person interview and a written test. Also did a HireVue interview and an online testing phone interview. Then there was a drug screen and background check, followed by an offer letter, but I didn't get the job. They didn't even send an 'I am sorry' letter or email. I was greatly disappointed.
- Tell me about a time you gave someone incorrect information and how you handled it.
