Customer Care Representative
We started with a quick 15-minute phone chat that covered some standard stuff, then I had a virtual meeting with the hiring manager. They were really nice and easy to talk to, which made it pretty comfortable.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your professional experience?
- What do you hope to gain from this new position?
- What's the next step you're aiming for in your career?
Customer Service Representative
The process starts with a computer test. If you pass, you immediately proceed to the interviews. Failing the computer test means you're out. I had three interviews that seemed to go well, and I thought the first interviewer was impressed. However, I received a rejection email two days later, which was poorly written by the recruiter. The recruiter was difficult to work with throughout the process, including the initial phone screen. Her lack of knowledge and poor phone etiquette made the experience negative. I wouldn't consider working there again because of this recruiter. It's advisable to practice the computer tests beforehand to increase your chances of getting to the in-person interviews.
- Tell me about yourself.
Customer Service Associate
The interview process was a poor experience. I spoke with a recruiter who seemed to not have my information readily available. He asked questions that were not relevant to me, such as why I applied through a job board, which I clarified I don't do, preferring company career pages. He also asked why I wanted a contract position, but I had to correct him and state I applied for a part-time role. It seemed he had the wrong candidate information. He was unpleasant and rigid, despite me being overqualified with confidence and a likable personality. The recruiter himself was pleasant, but this other person was not.
