First, an HR person will reach out to set up an interview. No phone interviews are conducted. Expect about 2 to 3 interviewers. One will be from HDR, and the rest will be from the department you're applying to. It's a behavioral interview. They usually start by asking you to talk about your background and experience. Then, they'll ask more questions based on what you've said. They might ask you to elaborate on resume points, share what you learned, discuss difficulties you faced, or point out big wins. Be prepared for the salary question, so do your homework. You'll also get a tour of the office where you'd work. They do take their time getting back to you with a final decision.

I reached out to the hiring manager for the role, and after that, I got an interview. The department manager was the first person I spoke with, and it seemed like they were trying to figure out my personality and if I'd be a good fit for the team. Then, a more senior engineer interviewed me about my technical skills and to gauge my interest in the work. Overall, it was a good experience.
